Know thyself

by Otis

A few years ago, I did a series on Rapid Eye Reality called "Get to Know Your Otis." For lack of something in the way of a fine story to tell this week, I beg your indulgence in this forum.

Ask a question, I'll do my best to give an answer.

If I get a little lucky, your questions might remind me of a story I haven't told yet.

Five years ago, did you see yourself where you are today (poker, life, work, etc...)?

Who taught you to play Pai Gow?

(You need to get your money back.)

=0)

Dear Otis,

Have you ever uttered an obscenity on the air? If not, can you recall a time when you were very, very close?

Sincerely,
Riveted in Rancho Cucamonga

On the list of craziest shit you've ever done, where does the keno crayon eating rank? And if it's not at the top, what is?

I’m interested in the possible interaction between poker play and concurrent prop betting. As an on-line tournament donkey, prop betting is new to me. Do you ever use prop betting as part of your poker strategy? For example use a prop bet to distract or to tilt your opponents. What are the associated poker ethics?

Chronicle for us your teens to adulthood by telling us what has been and now currently is your drink of choice.

How did the Otis elevator get that name?

Can you caugh while you masturbate in the shower? I think its like one of those sneezing while pissing things... Not that I masturbate in the shower.....

Besides being married and having a kid, what is the greatest thing that has ever happened to you?

If you owned a business, what would it be?

2 questions:

You're given a severence check of $25K by Stars and told you need to find a new job due to UIGEA. You walk by the $25/50NL game on the way out the door and see a few whales sitting. Avg preflop raise is $300. You'd be covered if you put it all on the table. How much do you put on the table? (notice I didn't ask IF you'd sit down)

You enter a new dimension where you have no responsibilities and nobody relying on you. What do you do for living and where do you live?

Have you given it any serious thoughts to "renting" TheMark's compound for Bradoween? If Bradoween has already seen its last year, will you consider beginning something new to reflect your current life?

Posted by: at March 9, 2007 11:12 AM

If you could give any of your blogging brethren one gift, who would the blogger be and what would you give them?

Posted by: StB at March 9, 2007 12:29 PM

Who is suggesting the renting of my place for Bradoween? I'm In, for the one time low price of a bottle of SoCo.

When you're looking at the blinking cursor and a white background, what inspires you to bang out a blog post/story?

Your sitting at a $5 Pai Gow table at the Imperial Palace and could have any 5 other players and any dealer. Who is sitting with you, and what are they drinking?

Posted by: Drizztdj at March 12, 2007 8:22 AM

Markoween just doesn't sound right.

Have you ever gotten in trouble for cursing loudly at a live shot location when you weren't even there?

When was the last time you played 7-Card Stud-Follow the Bitch-Low Cincinnati, and how much did you lose?

Posted by: TeamScottSmith at March 13, 2007 7:54 PM

Have you considered Bradsgiving?
