Iggy's long demise

by Otis

Dr. Joseph Dolan: You know, it's a shame about Ed.
Fletch: Oh, it was. Yeah, it was really a shame. To go so suddenly like that.
Dr. Joseph Dolan: He was dying for years.
Fletch: Sure, but... the end was very... very sudden.
Dr. Joseph Dolan: He was in intensive care for eight weeks.
Fletch: Yeah, but I mean the very end, when he actually died. That was extremely sudden.

--"Fletch"

I was more than sincere in my writing yesterday, and I'll admit it was inspired by Iggy's decision to do whatever it is he's doing. That said, I think some folks are taking this a little far. If you haven't seen it, I'll let you decide. (Via You Tube, so RSS folks will have to click through. Sorry).

Posted by: donkeypuncher at November 17, 2006 12:09 AM

Seconded, thirded, whatever.

Posted by: Michael Albert at November 17, 2006 12:27 AM

I have no idea who that man at the 1:53 mark is, but that is fucking hilarious.

Now I must sleep.

Posted by: chad at November 17, 2006 12:38 AM

Love it!

Well played!

HAHAHAHAHA!

Posted by: Pokerwolf at November 17, 2006 6:53 AM

Fantabulous!

Posted by: Bobby Bracelet at November 17, 2006 6:56 AM

Oh. My.

Brilliant! Brilliant, I say!

More! More! More!

Posted by: BSN at November 17, 2006 8:11 AM

Way... I mean WAY too much time on your hands.

But funny.

Salud, Iggy. Salud.

Posted by: Little Willie at November 17, 2006 8:36 AM

Oh sweet jeebus that was wonderful! Just about lost it at the Superman Lunchbox part *grin.

Well done indeed!

Posted by: Katitude at November 17, 2006 9:06 AM

Too good! Gotta love how the crowd cheers at the beginning and becomes deadly silent as they have no clue what he is singing about.

Posted by: StB at November 17, 2006 9:36 AM

On the list of "Things I Love," this easily hit the top 10.

Posted by: Joe Speaker at November 17, 2006 1:00 PM

I'm in tears from laughing.

Posted by: Drizztdj at November 17, 2006 1:54 PM

How long is Iggy going to milk this stupid announcement?

Posted by: Monte the Dead Cat at November 17, 2006 2:01 PM

It's amazing that such a little person could have such a big impact on our lives. I think he/she is FAR from done, but what do I know.

Posted by: Little Bitch at November 17, 2006 2:42 PM

Spectacular!

Posted by: o-hole-ne at November 17, 2006 3:25 PM

The Superman Lunchbox got me too!

Sheer Genius - to coin a phrase.

Posted by: Div at November 17, 2006 4:52 PM

Oh the humanity.

Posted by: dann at November 17, 2006 6:35 PM

nh indeed.

Posted by: Daddy at November 17, 2006 7:28 PM

Okay.
Just viddy'd it for the second time.

The 1:53 guy kills me. I'm with Chad here. I knew it was coming, and BAM! The forehead. The manicured goatee. The smile.

That guy has a big heart for certain.
Likely hung like a paint can too, but that's beside the point.

I mean, seriously, who doesn't love the 1:53 guy?

Posted by: Daddy at November 18, 2006 12:00 AM

Haha...classic.

I kept laughing when the guy kept saying, "UmmmHmmm". Reminded me of Billy Bob Thornton in "Sling Blade" after almost every sentence he completed.

Well done.

Posted by: slb159 at November 18, 2006 7:43 AM

Absolutely fabulous.

Posted by: gracie at November 18, 2006 10:32 AM

Errol Morrisesque. Terrific.
