Why aren't you on my blogroll? Okay, I'm sure it's my fault. You sent me an email awhile back and I meant to add you and forgot. Or you left a comment hoping I'd see it and put you on the list. Well, now's my chance to right that wrong.
Please leave me a comment with your poker blog and, if you'd like a special spotlight, tell me why you should be "The Nuts." By Wednesday, you'll be on the roll and I'll pick a new winner. And sorry, but you're not getting any cool PokerStars gear out of this. Up For Poker has no budget. Although I'm thinking of merchandising... but that would only confirm fears that my ego is too large (check the comments).
On a completely unrelated note, I've now managed to redirect UpForPoker.com and UpForPoker.net. Makes it a lot easier to tell people how to get here. Next step will be moving this over completely... but that's way down the road. I'm an idiot, it was hard enough to figure this out!
CJ, is your ego so big it won't let you tell the good folks about me dropping the hammer on you yesterday during the Blogger's Tourney?
Posted by: hozzleshank at October 24, 2005 1:52 PMDude, you were the end of me. Your big stack sat down and I donked away my stack. I think I've blocked you out of my mind altogether.
The HAMMER was solid.
Posted by: CJ at October 24, 2005 2:09 PMThanks for the rail support yesterday

I feel like a shill for doing this, but since you asked:
Check out my poker blog, High On Poker (highonpoker.blogspot.com). It should be the Nuts because I tell it straight, with a mix of poker analysis and day to day events, I have posted structures for bankroll management that people have found helpful (although I did not necessarily create it), and I have created (with the help of fellow bloggers) several interesting inter-blog challenges, including the limit challenge, sng challenge, heads-up challenge, and the current heads-up challenge 2.
There you go. I feel cheap and dirty now.
Posted by: Jordan from HighOnPoker at October 24, 2005 3:01 PMI shouldn't be the nuts, but I'd like a link anyway. Unless I put up another picture of me in the kilt. Then I'm the nuts.
Posted by: Falstaff at October 24, 2005 4:34 PMI dunno, I've never been a cheap, dirty link-whore because I feel that new blogs should be discovered rather than forced upon people. After all, that's how I found U4P, Pauly, Iggy, and all the other great writers I read day in and day out. So while I'd rather be discovered as a pleasant little surprise while blog-surfing, I'll hike up my skirt and stick my leg out toward the road just this once and say that I should be the Nuts because I'm honest in my posts, passionate about this game we love, and I lose a lot more often than some of you, so I can be somewhat of a lightning rod of self-esteem to everyone currently getting their ass kicked. I write about poker from a Hollywood Female perspective and I'd say most of my quality stuff is on that very subject. Though I am high most of the time when I'm writing it.

It should be "The Nuts" because I'm a 2 time Party Poker Bad Beat Jackpot winner.
Posted by: Predator314 at October 24, 2005 5:16 PMBetter than "The Nuts" -- it's flopilicious!!
Posted by: zowie at October 24, 2005 8:27 PMMy poker blog is suitedaces.blogspot.com It doesn't suck as much as it used too, but I still doubt it should be The Nuts. There are a lot of poker blogs out there better than mine. Like this one.
Posted by: Patrick at October 25, 2005 12:08 AMMy poker blog is http://beaupoker.blogspot.com
It's actually brand-new, but I hope to keep people updated on my daily results in online play, as well as post poker news from time to time.
I don't think it should be The Nuts however.
Posted by: Beau at October 25, 2005 1:01 AMYou may have me already, but what the hell, we all love a good pimping opportunity.
My blog should be "The Nuts" because...
one of these days I'm going to take over the world and then you'll all wish that you'll jumped on the band waggon earlier.
At least, that's what The Brain keeps telling me.
Posted by: Pinky at October 25, 2005 6:19 AMI thought I was on your blogroll..
Posted by: Slayre at October 25, 2005 6:23 AMQuest of a Closet Poker Player: I don't think it should be the Nuts, but it would be a nice addition. It is about the murky world of playing poker on the sly, of not really being allowed to play. Closet Poker brings its own challenges, including having to maximize EV in 15-30 minute chunks.
Posted by: cc at October 25, 2005 7:43 AMI probably don't post enough poker-related stuff to qualify, but I'll let you decide. Tournament post is up now.
Best,
Mr. P.
Please link me up @ http://isuckateuchre.blogspot.com
Thank you.

Posted by: Chilly at October 25, 2005 10:37 AMHey CJ,
You busted me out just after you busted out Wil the other night (Im wwdnposse) and my blog is at my "real name" domain, instead of some fancy-schmancy poker domain. I dunno, Ive never hidden behind a handle, so Iv ealways used my real name.
Was fun playing with You, Wil and Chris H. the other night. Hope to find hyou online at PS again. If you want to link me, that would be great, if not, I understand. Keep on bloggin!
Posted by: Troy Rutter at October 25, 2005 4:34 PMCertainly not 'The Nuts', but perhaps worth a read - that is if you are interested in pro football betting, playing $20+2 one-table tournaments, and general mayhem. Live blogging to be had on the main events!

Posted by: Fortunae at October 26, 2005 2:47 AMBecause of his serious strategy stuff, and his new current challenge: "Play along and win the rights to rename this blog for a week" that is brilliant and fun and educational, I nominate DoubleAs as the weeks The Nuts.
Posted by: TeamScottSmith at October 26, 2005 5:57 AMIf you'd like to feel better about your blog, just compare it to mine.
Posted by: StunBmun at October 26, 2005 7:10 AMI confidently submit my new blog, Low Rollin', for consideration, because I am great at thinking I have The Nuts and getting crushed when I don't. It's my view from the eternal short stack, a backstage pass to DonkFest. Witness my struggle to break the chains of weak-tightness and find my aggressive inner self, as well as my journey through the on-line micro-limits. Listen as I repeatedly declare an end to my live poker career, only to dive headfirst once again into the shark tank that is G-Vegas. Join the crowd of two that have jumped on the Low Rollin' bandwagon!

Posted by: Jaxia at October 27, 2005 11:14 AMIs begging for blog links called "blegging?" Well if so, I guess that's what I'm doing.
I started a new poker-themed blog not really intended for the deeply experienced poker audience. Instead, I've tried to create a page whereby newbies to online poker and skeptical people about the honesty of online poker can come and get those conspiracy theories calmly debunked.
Of course, where there ARE areas of concern or at least "buyer-beware" among sites, we'll talk about it. I have a multi-part series on Kahnawake and what, if any, protection they provide for the player.
I'd love a link

I don't know if I qualify as "the nuts" but I have made the final table at two WPBTOnline events this year. That has to be good for something right?
If you link to me I'd certainly appreciate it.
