A few of the lessons I've learned during my five or so costly years of poker apprenticeship, some from those far wiser than myself, others which dawned on me as I watched my chips being pushed far away from me. Enjoy.
I think I love, "If you can think of even one mistake you made during the hand, then it wasn't really a bad beat."
That really crystallizes it for me. I look at a hand and think I got punk'd, and then say to myself, "Why did I slow play before the turn?" That would make it my fault, wouldnt' it?

Good stuff. It's amazing how many of those strike a familiar chord. At least now I have definitive guidelines for a virtuous poker life :) Hmmmm, is that an oxymoron?
